About Syntropy

Syntropy is an annual three-day event conducted by the Department of Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering and Materials Science and Engineering, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, and consists of a wide variety of technical and non-technical events, workshops, talks by experts in industry and academia, games, cultural events, and much more.
It was started in 2019 when our University hosted the AIChE Indian Student Regional Conference for the first time, under the guidance of Prof. Datta Dandge.

Theme

The annual event hosted by the Department of Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Polymer Engineering and Material Science proudly presents our theme: "Amplifying Ambitions", celebrating the fusion of ambition, innovation, and sustainability within our disciplines. In the realm of engineering, ambition is the driving force that propels us to new heights, challenges conventional thinking, and pushes the boundaries of what is possible. At the heart of our theme is the fusion of four branches. By intertwining these disciplines, we transcend traditional boundaries and foster synergies that drive groundbreaking discoveries. We are committed to sustainability, recognizing our responsibility to the planet and future generations. Join us in a journey where ambitions are amplified, possibilities are limitless, and the future is engineered with purpose and passion: where together, we harness the power of innovation and shape a tomorrow that knows no bounds.

This year, Syntropy will be held on the 18th, 19th and 20th of April. It will host a plethora of technical and non-technical events such as Paper Presentations, Poster Presentations, mock placement, Sports, a Treasure Hunt, a Cultural Night, Panel Discussion and Workshops, with exciting prizes for the winners.
